PS4 has an install base of around 40 million but cross platform titles tend to sell significantly more with some exceptions like stardew valley. Even minecraft’s console versions (combined, but still a smaller install base by a lot) sold better despite nearly any computer in the world being able to play it. It’s

Steam has an install base of well over 100 million.

Which the vast vast majority of them will not. Do you honestly think given the option to simply pirate the game or purchase it, pc gamers will purchase it? They won’t, that’s why piracy is so rampant on pc and why game devs continue to target consoles as primary platforms due to the massively higher sales on consoles

I was a HUGE fan of Jontron in High School and early in college, his twitter behaviour has been getting more and more reprehensible to the point where I can’t separate his videos from his frankly insane extreme alt-right and apparently racist personality. He went on a rant saying Muslim women don’t face

The dock doesn’t scratch the screen, idiots do then they blame the dock. Some of the examples I’ve seen even had horizontal scratches, showing very clearly that they either put it in completely wrong, jammed it in super hard, or did something else and blamed it on the dock. The plastic shouldn’t even really touch

I’ve looked extremely closely because I do care about my electronics, and that’s precisely why my dock hasn’t scratched my screen, because I put it in like a person who cares about my electronic purchases and I don’t slam it in like an ape. The most popular video showing these purported scratches shows horizontal

True, I just figured that after so much money spent on development, it would be worth recouping some of the losses by some sort of release even if it’s not marketed well.

Why did it get cancelled if it was near-finished?

Pro-hud is the way to play tbh, the hud is way too intrusive

I think it’s better on Switch, not only due to the higher resolution and faster load times but the ability to play it wherever is very liberating as well as sleep mode preserving my game so I can resume in seconds whenever I want

That’s honestly the only Shrine I’ve disliked, the motion controls were so finicky and it didn’t feel like a puzzle so much as hoping the motion control’s delay and the physics cooperated with what you wanted them to do.

Haven’t had any issues, if I cover my left joy con I can make it disconnect but other than that, nothing. Hopefully they’ll release better joy cons and repair/replace those that want them but that’s not really an issue with the console, just an easily replaceable (though expensive) controller

I love my switch, Zelda is one of the best games I’ve ever played and I don’t think it would be any better on competing hardware.

Japan has long had the issue where fetishizing homosexual relationships has been seen as acceptable but actual homosexuality is seen as gross or wrong. Shows like this kind of make me uncomfortable tbh, I watched two episodes and it was somewhat funny but it still kind of reminded me of how weird yaoi culture is, I

Ew

Anime?

Thanks for your valuable comment :)

It most certainly is an artistic choice but it also means they don’t have to put effort into making things look good or covering the errors/issues that devs usually have to spend so long to correct.

Let’s just released an intentionally unfinished looking student game and people will buy it because vaporwave

I’m sure. When I was there people also walked around with DSes and such. In the US though, the drop off of players was remarkably large and rapid, going from one of the most used apps to something I maybe see someone using once a month.
