I think that's how it defied classification — to an extent (I mean, most of the titles people have suggested only really sort of defy classification... I guess we could name Borges or Calvino's If on a winter's night a traveler if you want REAL unclassifiable novels?)

Heh. But by that logic, she should have been boning Sisko like crazy!

K'Ehleyr. I'm not going to look it up and I'm sure I spelled it wrong. But yeah, Worf's babymama was great, and good call. She really was like a proto-version of Ensign Ro (who I have called, repeatedly, "the first time Star Trek wrote a good woman character." I guess I should amend to "a good woman regular

Not to say oculus and leap motion aren't awesome, also. I'm ignorant of them. But I just meant in general, Musk has done some bold and awesome things.

Actually, I could give a shit about the whole "3d hand-wave interface" thing above. I'm thinking about Paypal, Tesla Motors, SpaceX and Hyperloop.

At least Sisko didn't have a craptacular family life. That was one of the core elements of his character. And his relationship with Jake (I felt) was pretty stellar throughout, dimensional, believable, complex but not too dramatic, — at least compared to basically any other depiction of family I can think of on Star

I'm not sure I (I want to say most people, but what would I know?) would have read that in any way as a black stereotype (also I am not black, so I am not particularly sensitive to those stereotypes... EDITED TO ADD: I get what he was worried about, I just think the circumstances were probably extreme enough to forgo

Probably yes, and I've heard the same.

First, Elon Musk is consistently awesome. More like that, please.

It seems more like an aid, right? a visualization tool for certain aspects of the process. I assume it's not meant to be the sole tool in the toolbox, so to speak.

Hahaha. Awesome.

I know. And agree. (I even rewatched Can't Hardly Wait recently, a film I remember being better than the rest. Maybe it is, but it's still pretty much teen schmaltz + drama.)

The more I think about this the more I realize that all best case scenarios of this plot have been done already in a single movie.

How do you convince your other you to be the boring old lookout so you can get into mischief, when all your other you wants is to make you be the boring old lookout so they can get into mischief?

Not that I'm rushing to see this, but "check out this fun twist on the doppelganger story" seems closer to selling me on it.

Highly, highly recommended.

BaZING!

I was not a fan of Voyager, and I've been vocal about it on here many times, but I watched it through/tried to give it the benefit of the doubt/don't hate every single episode/etc, and I think you nailed it, sir. Any of the options you named would have made sense. The idea of the Doctor and Seven seemed a little weird

And I haven't even addressed the Chipotle/7of9 pairing, because nothing needs to be said.

Okay but can we agree that Deep Space Nine was the best Star Trek for bucking the spracist trend?
