It is clear that if this were to work and Musk is really up to something that will change the way of transportation, there is only one thing left to do in order to impress the general public once more — teleprompting.

I've had the pleasure of blasting around in a 2004 RS6 Avant in Europe for quite a while ... (until it was totaled)... What a beast it was. Some ECU tuning had resulted in 520 hp+ and what I will never forget is the fact that it needed about 1 liter refill of motor oil on (roughly) every full tank of gas :)

A slightly modded Trabant! As you can see, it doesn't necessarily excite women, as they're looking away and aren't really thrilled to be photographed along one, but it definitely brought the DDR from A to B in its days.

Looks like it'd be fun to have a go in...

What's wrong with throwing a party in Monaco? Look at its potential from a motivational standpoint ...to throw in the towel and vanish.

Usually you'll find monuments (without the lantern poles) or historic figures / leaders. Makes me wonder what the reason is behind having a vehicle on the note.

The Stella, while she doesn't look it, must be one spacious automobile! Last time I checked, the Dutch were the tallest humans on the planet.

6 months. The lucrative Chinese (business man) will "sit" on the car for 6 months prior to shipping it to China.

It's interesting to see similarities among quite a few manufacturers when it comes to headlight (facial) design. 2014 sure is the year of the agressive look. Take the new 3 series BMW or the Maserati Ghibli. Or better yet, look at the vision for the next generation Alfa 159 (if it were ever to hit the market).

Good point - human nature eh?!

Makes me realize how easy going the enforcement is in Southern California. A large number of vehicles (mainly pick-up trucks driven by nationals from the south of our border) are uninsured. When pulled over, they usually get a fine and that's it.

Or perhaps, instead of raffling the cars off, the authorities could take all the impounded vehicles to a race track that can be accessed by anyone with a drivers license and about 15 pounds - which will allow them to have a go in the vehicles. Win Win
