How about you hire people who want to write about automotive issues instead of trying to write political articles disguised as automotive articles? I am all for having diverse viewpoints about automobiles and automotive culture. I could not care less about your political opinions. There are already numerous writers…

Do we have to make this official in the “job” sense?

Sadly, that’s written better than half the articles on G/O Media sites nowadays.

Good on them. I’ll make sure to buy Continental next time I need tires. Can’t judge them now for then. Different people - Different circumstances. Majority of my family is German. if people want to judge me because of them so be it. Bigots and idiots will always live among us.

by the way, Conti makes far, far more automotive supply/manufacturing critical parts well beyond tires. These include engine controllers & brake system controllers to name just a couple.

To some degree, per German law it is illegal to publicly display symbols of “unconstitutional” organizations.

Its 2020. The END of the war happened 75 years ago.  I highly doubt a board or family member that was active is still around.  

But Continental couldn’t explain why it had taken decades to do so.

Part of the problem is the costs of energy is regional...

They also have shorter distances to drive. Most of the countries are smaller  than the average sized state here.
