Nope, she was officially decommissioned in ‘07, and two places, one in Rhode Island and another in Maine were looking to acquire her as a museum ship. In ‘17 the Navy decided both the JFK and Kitty Hawk would be broken up instead, which is a shame, since the Enterprise and the Nimitz-class, being nukes, can’t be saved

Hey, some gray called DavyBoy says I should stop replying to you, so I’m going to reply again.

You mean China. The Indian carrier was a Kiev-class “Heavy aircraft cruiser” that was later modified into a ski-jump carrier and sold to India.

Yup, CVN-79, second of the Ford-class, was christened 12/7/19. CVN-80 will be the ninth USN ship named Enterprise, and -81 will be the Dorie Miller. -82 is planned, but not yet named.

There’s still issues, but the Ford’s EMALS was cleared for use by all aircraft in February.

Better yet, an Osprey.

I’d rather use the 3 seashells.

OK, butter and cheese are a good start, now does anyone know how to make your own toilet paper?

  1. Nothing.
  1. Odd. The LJS near me, when it was open, had good (not great) food. Loved their battered fish and “Stealth” (Yes, that’s the name) waffle-cut fries.
Now playing

“Where We Belong”, a bonus track off Billy Sherwood’s “Return to the Dark Side of the Moon” tribute album

Yes, though they haven’t said where it’s going to be stationed yet. Seattle or San Fran would be my best guess.

That’s nice. Still waiting on my B&D Food Hydrator:

It was going to just be the Skywalkers, but then I found Zeb & Ahsoka.
