I’m glad to see the age-old tradition of “Let’s attack people with different opinions rather than have any meaningful discussion” is still alive and well here!

Glad I’m not alone unabashedly terrified of that Circus of Values machine. Perhaps it was the disembodied voice’s manic enthusiasm that was the most unsettling
Being this is a Valve game, I’m sure they’ve already planned ways to add cosmetic value to any card. For example, you can buy the base card, or get a golden(/foil) version of that, or the card but with a Artifact/Dota personality’s signature, or any combination of these things for much more money than a normal player…
“Bu-But... Freedom of Speech!!1!”
That was my gut reaction, but then I realized this was a spin-off game just experimenting with different ideas and a more “Traditional Game” will be coming out in 2019. With that in mind, I’m more willing to give this game a chance. But if it’s more than $40 I’ll be a little annoyed.
It shouldn’t have been on the storefront to begin with. I would say I’m surprised, but this seems like par for the course for Valve as of late.
You sit here, desperately trying to convince people John was this awful human being and then condescendingly mock them when the facts and examples you’ve been twisting around don’t line up with reality. I really wish you could take the blinders off and maybe see the bigger picture instead of politicizing a man’s death.
He also threw anti-trans people out of a con, but that doesn’t fit the narrative you were going for I guess.
Bummer, I was really looking forward to streaming games to my iPad
I’m very fortunate that I found one of Totalbiscuit’s “WTF is...” videos many years ago because I feel he has made plenty of people think more critically about games, media, and the industry as a whole. I haven’t watched much of his stuff in years, but he was the entire reason I ever got into PC Gaming. He will be…
John later apologized for much of what he said in anger. Before GamerGate was ever a thought on people’s minds he advocated for ethics/proper discourse in game journalism. Unfortunately, plenty of alt-right dickheads latched onto that phrase as an excuse to be dickheads and the phrase has since lost its meaning.
Proclaiming Social Justice while politicizing a man’s death. Please take a step back from your computer or phone and rethink what you’re saying.
I loathe Nicole Arbour, how can one person be so incredibly tone deaf?
Some people are just that lazy (myself included). The beauty of PC gaming is having so many options on how to play
I feel quite the opposite, I’m excited about this. In the past, Campo Santo had to juggle being a game developer while also being a game company. Between working on the game they would have to schedule meetings, plans for conventions, merchandise, etc.
Asking for ports is one thing, acting like an obnoxious tool is another. Port beggers can, and sometimes are very obnoxious. Short-sighted ad hominem fueled rants like this one generalizing all Switch owners/fans as “Nintendo Zealots” whining about “port begging,” are no better. Surprisingly, people are going to ask…
Portability is one hell of a drug
Same, I wonder what animation style they would want to go for in their next game? I would be interested in seeing the MDHR team tackle the 60's/70's Hanna-Barbera style of animation or maybe even the style of 90's Saturday Morning Cartoons. Though if they stick to the Rubber hose, I would definitely be down for that!
I... I don’t think that’s how game development works...
