It’s highly memorable if nothing else.

That’s a great example actually.

Absolutely.

My Nickelodeon period was in the mid-late 90s, so I was the perfect age for All That when it started, during the same period that The Odyssey, Eerie Indiana and Reboot were all on the air (and Nick and Nite led me to watching way, way too much 60s and 70s sitcoms).

Oh god I’d totally forgotten about this one.  I remember reading it but nothing about it after so many years.

So this is the man responsible for the gloriously insane tuna scene. “Bullshit asshole, nobody likes the tuna here!”

Oh absolutely. The absurdity of those performances are is what makes it so good.

Incredible influential producer. Dallas and Knots Landing changed the television industry in a huge way and remain influential to this day.

I was a huge Frasier and Cheers fan so I’m looking forward to this, no matter how it turns out.

Honestly, I hated Armageddon when it came out but it’s really increased in my estimation when I’ve revisited it. The movie’s fucking insane and incredibly poorly written but goddamn is it entertaining.

The person who wrote this list is in it for the money, no the science.

Yeah what the fuck.

Westhead’s implosion as coach of the Lakers is one of those fascinating things. The book covers it in great depth but it was a situation which just fell apart when it was clear that Buss and ownership were far more committed to Magic and Kareem than they were to anyone else.

This is a sad loss. He’s always been, by far, the best thing about Truth Be Told, a series that is good when it’s great but so, so uneven.

People who want to make a sequel are in it for the money, not the science.

Incredible figure. RIP

Indeed! He was quite a big deal in the early to mid 2000s under Geoff John’s’ pen when he became the breakout character of JSA but post Infinite Crisis and the complete fucking hodgepodge that DC made of Captain Marvel and his characters, he fell off the radar hard.

Loved him on Oz

Well, when he’s right, he’s right.

This needle generated one of the biggest laughs in the entire film from my audience, along with the Midge gag, the Justice League bit and the final line.
