Same. I saw it last Friday afternoon and the cinema was packed. I’m not in America but I looked at a few sessions and the seats were mostly booked ahead, particularly the evening ones.

New 52 is such a fascinating thing to look back on. Outside of Johns’ Green Lantern and Morrison’s Batman, it wasn’t like anyone was all that excited by what DC was doing at the time anyway.

Yeah I agree with that. I normally cannot stand films which insert kids or teenagers into them to make it relatable for audiences but in Furlong’s case, I think it works.

That’s a pretty fucked up comparison. No matter what your thoughts are on Avatar, it’s got nothing in common with those two pieces of evil. 

I rewatched in a few weeks ago and this is more or less where I’d stick it too.

I was in my 20s when this started and ended up binging the first few seasons of it Circa 2008-09.

Just got back from seeing it. Absolutely loved it. Far and away better than the first one (which I also enjoyed).

Personally I’m hoping we get a return of Patrick “Duffles” Duffy.
