It’s the best and most usable version of the character, hence why they keep coming back to it despite the most fervent hopes of Geoff Johns, Jeph Loeb.

That 2017 movie fucking sucked. I was deeply disappointed by it. Confusing, rambling, impenetrable and yet another movie which pointlessly has a precocious idiot child taking Centre stage.
I saw the first one in cinemas twice and loved it. Haven’t seen it in at least 20 years but still, good memories.
Really looking forward to this. The first series was an absolute blast.

I never saw Divergent but I remember the ads for all the post-Hunger Games YA books and they all looked like indistinguishable clones of each other, which isn’t the best way to advertise or stand out.
