Admittedly I found that Batman comic to be hilariously insane when it came out.

He’s a little biased - Liefeld did some work for Cruise in the mid-90s and drew his Mission Impossible comic for Marvel circa 1996. I don’t know if they kept in touch but he’s always been very pro-Cruise.
Fuck yeah Robotech. Loved that when I was a kid
And wise creative choices.
Agreed. Birds of Prey was a huge disappointment for me and was full of weird missteps and a terrible script.

Absolutely. It was such a fucking hackjob.
The most recent episode which focused on Kareem was amazing. Such an interesting guy.
For real.
Looking back, it’s interesting that it’s been nearly 20 years since Magneto used in a major villainous context (and even then the end of Morrison’s run was rectconed so that it was Xorn pretending to be Magneto).
Not off the top of my head but they talk about Carson a lot in the commentaries, particularly Seasons 1-4 while Jay Kogan, Mike Reiss and Al Jean were all on staff, among others.
Ah firsties.
I’m delighted Ken Branagh won. Belfast was a lovely movie.
Late night American talk shows have never been part of my life so my entire frame of reference for Carson is his appearance on The Simpsons and the hatred its writers had for him.
