I am pretty sure countries like Germany and Sweden know much more about safety that USA and the DMV should acknowledge that. Why don't they just create a system of converting EU safety regulations into US ones?

The cars overall shape is still very similar to medium sized family sedans that do barely anything more than taking kids to school or go for groceries. I don't find it any more interesting than the new Malibu or the new Acura something (they all look the same and have forgettable names)
