I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy

Attaboy! I came here to do just that.

Oh, I don't hate it at all. It's quite great, especially at a $70 price point. I guess I'm just a Photoshop fanboy? I've been using it for years and I know I've only scratched the surface. I HAVEN'T really gotten into digital painting, however, which is one of the reasons I was trying out the Sketchbooks.

I've seen screens and image macros of that game SO MANY TIMES but that's the first time I've seen actual gameplay. Thank you?

Wow, Matt, I can't tell you how grateful I am that you created this site. I've been using Photoshop for years, but I've never been able to get into the digital painting side of it, even after I bought my tablet. I've also felt that speed-paintings aren't very helpful, so I really appreciate the way you're approaching

Illustrator uses vectors - mathematical lines - to define the shapes and strokes made in the program. It gives you a degree of mathematical perfection and is perfect for graphic design (and many many other things), but digital painting is not what Illustrator was made for.

I've been playing around with Sketchbook Designer and Pro since I can get all Autodesk software as a college student for a couple years. Pro is the super lightweight painting variety, whereas Designer is an interesting hybrid of vector and bitmap illustration. Both are very simple and intuitive, I certainly recommend

I agree completely. New Nintendo All-Stars game, maybe to replace SSB?

You should give your school a shout-out so we can look them up!

Yeah, it's called Indie Brawl, it's a 2D fighting game starring indie "all-stars" duking it out. Pretty sure it's still very much still being made, but I haven't looked at it in forever. A friend of mine was following it and contributing for a while. Anyway you can go to the TIGsource forums here to check it out: [foru

A kid can hit the level cap in a matter of HOURS? Did they learn ANYTHING from Pokemon? Kids aren't going to start crying just because they can't max out a character instantly. Not sure what provoked this decision....

Other crap filled the gap while I waited to begin, the adventure of my life in the land of Skyrim!

@Shippoyasha: Am I crazy or does that prototype look like a GBA SP with some tinfoil on the sides?

@Methossa: You're absolutely right, I was going to say the exact same thing. It's interesting how he can stand so far above in something that seems so trivial to us.

@Muel: I'm udderly mortified people will take this seriously.

@Catoblepas: Completely agreed. There were even more skills in Morrowind before that, and far more in Daggerfall before then. Granted, Daggerfall had skills like "Giantish" (keeps giants from aggroing you) and "Medical" (heals more health when you rest) that were completely unnecessary, but it also had a lot of cool

@bowen13: I do think Morrowind is the better game, but I also think people are bored of Oblivion and just starting to get nostalgic for Morrowind. It seems as if there's a inordinate amount of gushing going on about Morrowind's "perfection." There's a really great sense of culture and an interesting world, but plenty
