@awh: Love Tagscanner. I've downloaded Picard, but have yet to try and get into it. Tagscanner, on the other hand, has already neatened up most of my music.

The thing is, he really shouldn't be attacking video games specifically, he should be attacking everything that's not you practicing your instrument. Of course, he thinks some people might be under the illusion that these games will make you better in some way, so I can see why he said that.

Really it's just a frontend for DOSbox, which is pretty much rock-solid. D-Fend itself is lightweight and easy to use. But yeah, sometimes you do need to pump that CPU.

@SuperSonik: Go to www.wololo.net/wagic to download the latest version, it's all packaged nicely together, just extract to your normal homebrew folder. If you want card images you'll have to look around on the forums, as they can't be supplied with the game for copyright reasons. Even without the images the game looks

This seems like exactly the kind of thing the homebrew community could latch onto. A new control mechanic that that's relatively easily accessible for most people could be very beneficial for the community and for the device itself.

@deanbmmv: I'm not sure whether Portal 1 was set at the same time as HL2 or not, but Portal 2 is set centuries after Portal 1 because Chell goes into stasis again after defeating GlaDos.

This article reminds me how nice it is to not have to rage about Jack Thompson every 5 seconds. I'm glad those dark days have for the most part passed.

The graphics on here are amazing. The focus-pull 'technology' they used makes you never notice the lower-polygon background :P
