Call me crazy but I think Nintendo should be trying to market towards PC gamers more. I have several reasons.

    Wrong article

Yasuo hasn't actually been released yet and won't be playable for another week or two, so the title is a bit misleading.

You're probably right that the console market isn't ready yet for such a change. The sad thing is that you guys (and PC gamers too) are already feeling the negative effects of the industry reacting against used games. Online-passes, DLC (day-one especially) - these are all at least in part designed to counterbalance

    Now playing

Sure, used games are great - for the consumer (cos it's free/less money), and for the backstabbing game retail stores like Gamestop who profit from it. Both piracy and used games end up costing the developer in some way, though. I'm curious, if both have the same effect then how do you justify used games over piracy?

PC may have more piracy but thanks to Steam and PC in general moving on to digital distribution you tend to have less used games.

Piracy may be a bit more complicated on consoles but nothing is easier than handing around a physical disk to your friends or trading it in at a game store, developers lose money off of

    Citations yes please!

Who here thinks that legalizing prostitution would help reduce incidences of sexual assault? *raises hand*

In my experience Chrome performs worse than Firefox in terms of memory usage even without extensions. I don't get many crashes in Firefox and even when I do it always has the recovery option so it's not a big deal for me. Also the Chrome counterparts of certain Firefox extensions just didn't work as smoothly as I

I have. I'm just saying that your idea to execute every pedophile, moreover to suggest death as a 'cure' is patently absurd. If you don't see how it's absurd, then it's probably best that this conversation not continue any further.

...This is absolutely incredible! I just tested your method on a dozen different subjects - poor people, stupid people, the handicapped, genetically inferior, born with Parkinson's, the clap, you name it!
Sir, you have just discovered a universal cure to EVERYTHING!

Listen people, zombie children are all adorable right up until the moment they tear your throat out. By desensitizing people to the idea of killing undead children now you are potentially saving their lives in the future. We've all seen one too many movies of silly bleeding hearts who think these infected little

They do that because Street Fighter is played on consoles and the training stage provides the least lag and visual distraction for the players. They don't pick for the audience's sake.

Your point about Dota being more mechanically complex is true - but so what? LoL and Dota are not the same game, they were never meant to be anywhere like the same game, and they shouldn't try to be. Dota's gameplay simply isn't for everybody.

I was at a shopping center once when I went over to look at a poster of the World Vision charity. I didn't know what it was looking from a distance, but by the time I noticed the charity volunteers standing around it was too late, they tried to engage me in conversation. I didn't really want to deal with her so, being

To be honest I was actually quite relieved to find that my actions didn't have THAT much of an impact on the final outcome because I knew I wouldn't have to play the game 3 or 4 times over just to get a different ending.

Plus all the points others have raised. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

I don't understand how this gimmick can be profitable. Owls are such high-maintenance creatures, I can't imagine the potential profits from this attraction outweighing the costs associated with caring for the animals, how do they do it?

I can't speak to the above video, but typical 'micro' in Starcraft does not rely on control groups. Usually it involves selecting and controlling individual units at a time, and if things get really hectic you would have to do this really fast. What's likely happening in the video is that he's using drag-select to

If they could figure out how to keep making games for seven year old hardware, I'm sure they can figure out how to make games for less-than one year old hardware.

I just have my Firefox UI like this. No Firefox button, no add-ons required. I can't stand the Firefox button, I prefer my old school menu options but with other buttons packed into the empty space.
I guess I'm just old school that way.
