I guess Subaru’s equivalent of Howie Makem, the Quality Cat mascot was taking time off that week.

I always get a little giddy when I spot a mule car here in Arizona, sometimes far from the various proving grounds. It’s always a game of “guess what it is” under all that distracting exterior disguise.

Glad to see I’m not the only one having a quirky obsession to remove or black out badges and logos on cars, motorcycles, home appliances, audio gear or clothing items, often using Sharpies and electrical tape.
