And for me at least this remains a big reason why I wait for user reviews before buying any game, as I’d much rather spend my time playing better games.

In the end we are customers. How it’s made isn’t our problem. If on day x i buy a game with the premise it work as long as i meet the requirement listed by the studio. My game should work as intended. It’s not being a diva, that’s how being a customer work.
If that’s the case, then no, nobody can walk away from it, unfortunately. Not entirely.
Huh, as a long time PC gamer, I’m not angry, I haven’t been angry about it for quite a while, quite the opposite, I’ve been very optimistic.
Reading the article, I think this is in huge part because I just excluded myself from everything on the bleeding edge. Plus I guess I also purposefully skip most of the drama that…
And if that doesn’t make you feel better, you can always just walk away from the woods.
I’ve been PC gaming on and off for two decades now. I can’t seemed to be bothered with it anymore. Upgrading just isn’t worth it between the prices, especially when games are just more likely to “work” on console.
the GBA had a few extra espers and an additional end game dungeon, all very much worth the price of admission. also the bug fixes.
This is maybe one of the top five worst takes ever posted on Kotaku.
Not at all. The legality never has been brought to question beyond their lost case vs. Galoob.
That’s a very interesting take on One Piece. But it’s just a take. The manga is vast and wide-ranging enough for a lot of others. I do like the idea of this particular one, though.

And?
Tbh, with how anti-consumer the big three are becoming, I wouldn’t shake my head towards their cries of piracy nowadays. But companies are pretty petty and they know they can control the courts for the smallest of grievances.
They don’t care. It’s just bully mentality so they’ll argue whatever to feel like the big person in the room. Their main argument for being an ass is that everyone is doing it. I should have just ignored the obvious troll.
But going after Sanderson as the face of Mormonism is incredibly self-defeating, Sanderson doesn’t really stand for or support a lot of the political positions that people loathe about Mormonism (Except in that he continues to profess his faith). He’s certainly no conservative despite people desperately trying to…
LexW cannot stand different people having different opinions from them.
Also I love that you think Shakespeare wasn’t “written for a wide audience”. LOL jesus. That’s special.
The Wired article is plastered with insults and name calling. Their articles used to be professionally written and had credibility. The article is more on the journalist’s opinion of the writer. I’m sorry, but “blog post” is accurate. There is no standard for how a blog post should be written and it appears the Wired…
I’ve been reading your comments. If you aren’t the author of the article, you think a lot like him and want people to understand his point of view.
That’s not remotely true, and is just ignorant and rather stupid. Fantasy authors vary as much as any authors. Many fantasy writers are extremely socially and not at all “dorks”. Perhaps the majority.
