Nintendo once again showing that they have no idea how their community actually functions.

Yeah it’s not like I get paid particularly well, relative to where I live, but I would be taking a significant pay cut if I made $25k a year. That’s a pathetic wage to pay the people who make some of the most popular and acclaimed games in the industry (or indeed, to pay anyone).
Elon musk hates parody accounts - meanwhile his own life is a goddam parody account. FFS
As GI.Biz broke it down, the average yearly salary for FromSoftware workers is approximately $24,660 USD
Given the way Nintendo has gone about handling its back catalog on the Switch, with subscriptions and such, you could make the argument that even Nintendo’s own old games have better availability on the Steam Deck through emulators lol
I paid $300 for my kid’s Switch a year ago, and $400 for my Deck in March. So 1.3x for the hardware. (Both devices got microSD cards, so that’s a wash.)
Just got a Switch. Overall, I like it a lot. But my biggest complaint has been the content to price ratio for Nintendo-published games. Breath of the Wild was worth the price, I’ll give them that.
But Mario Odyssey? I had that game beat in a week, even with going to the extra Dark Side of the Moon level.
Same with…
I . . . didn’t say “nobody cares.” I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make here. It's a comment section? So I commented? You're the one who seems to be taking it personally.
If you buy it on Switch and it runs like total crap, I think you are in the right, morally speaking, to download the ROM and emulate in on your deck instead.
I dunno, considering their game of the season runs like absolute dogshit on native hardware and has a 60fps patch on emulation, it might be worth mentioning again.
And this is why they don’t care about putting out quality.
I largely agree, but you will never convince me that the combat ever rose above serviceable. It’s clunky and then eventually becomes easy in a very boring way. There is no room for experimentation or skill, but rather the boring timed clicking of the mouse. Ugh. At least in the beginning of the game, it’s sort-of…
The Witcher 1 was a fantastic game in a lot of ways. I loved the plot, and there’s a lot of thematic subtleties there as well as a few “boot to your face” moments that really make it shine. The combat is pretty decent, once you get used to it.
But what I really loved was the consequence in the game. Lots of decisions…
My oldest son has joined the PC gamer team after realizing just how great sales can be on Steam, GoG, and Epic. The fact that Nintendo rarely runs sales on their digital games and even when they do they are no more then 20% off sucks.
I don’t know. The characters look to be more like Voltron characters to me.
