For someone starting fresh there is so much content to absorb and I find it more compelling than the storyline of Skyrim or FO4.

For reasons deserving of many other articles, there is a really unpleasant intolerance among games players toward those who aren’t skilled at a particular genre.

You make it sound like Nintendo would be breaking the law by not pushing for copyright claims.

But it is. Your whole argument here is to ask “But what about Marvel Future Revolutions, why didn’t you complain about that just as much?” That is textbook whataboutism: “the act or practice of responding to an accusation of wrongdoing by claiming that an offense committed by another is similar or worse”

Warframe I really don’t know much about. Destiny 2 I have been critical of in the past, though last I looked at it it’s microtransactions weren’t nearly as aggressive. Does it even have loot boxes, or other mechanics where people are allowed to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars game currency just for the chance…

The intended audience doesn’t change that these games are predatory. You make it sound like criticism regarding the exploitation of whales is somehow platform dependent.

Does Sony have all that many exclusives anymore now, though?  The majority of what used to be exclusive is now being brought over to PC as well.

Yeah, exclusives do suck for that reason.  Wanting to play a game but knowing you need to spend hundreds of dollars on redundant hardware is a drag.  Though I gotta say, in the past when I mentioned that exclusives suck so many of the people who supported them seemed to be Sony fans.
