And I’m sure you’re lobbying hard for kids to be able to legally play at the Blackjack tables. After all, they wouldn’t be spending anything that their parents didn’t give them, am I right?

So why wouldn’t the same exact thing apply for a kid playing a slot machine? If a kid walks into Caesar’s Palace and loses hundreds at slot machines, shouldn’t the parent still be responsible for their spending rather than the staff?

I get the complaint that these things amount to legalized gambling but, again, it’s been legal IRL for a very long time.

Personally I think that Resident Evil Village or Cyberpunk 2077 would be great additions.

I agree that Vampire Survivors looks like a great game, but I think it’s impact on Gamepass will be minimal considering it only costs $3 to purchase.

For Prey at least this has been given away for free before.

I honestly miss the days of physical mags because most of the time we didn’t even know a game was being worked on until it appeared in one

that’s also not a monopoly because you can just buy an android phone and buy apps on there

I swear it’s like people get excited for games without actually being interested enough to read about them past the title.

I don’t understand how those stupid worthless monkey pictures now have a valuation of over 4 billion dollars. Please explain it all to me. I am such an idiot.

Yeah, this is quite different from Heather’s article on loot boxes

yeah but NFTs are not just for games and pictures.

1. buy the rights and you can use the tree. 2. have some sort of profit sharing so you can track the multiple assetts you have bought from multiple people

not seen a single positive post or even one that explains what NFT’s can actually be used for

Yeah, I haven’t resubscribed to Game Pass PC yet and instead dusted off Fallout: New Vegas.  I’m sure I’ll come back to Game Pass eventually once they have some new blockbuster that I want to play.  Resident Evil Village for example would be great.

I was more referring to the fact that people will decide a game is dead simply because nobody they know plays the game.

My wife and I rewatched 1015 last night, which we normally don’t do.  Even Luffy’s straw hat looked better than it normally does, I’ve never seen his hat look so cool.  But yes, anything Ishitani does in the future I will make it an event to watch.

You don’t think it’s more the “I can’t stand the microtransaction-riddled wasteland” bias?  Those people aren’t aren’t avoiding games like Fallout 76 or mobile gaming because they’re too ‘hardcore’, it’s more that the games as a service model is so abhorrent to some people.

Oh, you didn’t finish Demon Slayer yet.   Have fun with all the back to back sakuga you have coming then!

You mentioned Demon Slayer. One of my immediate thoughts watching 1015 was the last time I was this impressed was watching The Red District Arc Episode 10 when Tengen goes all out against Gyutaro, imo the sakuga holds up to that.  Pretty sure it’s not a permanent change, though.
