I think the two have very distinct feels, but those critics still probably should remind themselves that Thor and the Guardians occupy the same fictional cosmos, so they probably should be similar in some respects.

Snoke has become 1000x more ridiculous upon my realization that, having been originally conceived as a serpentine character, they clearly just changed one letter in “snake.”
