if it's anything like the pitch & putt at Stanley park in Vancouver I have to agree with you. The world needs more of these.

I had really never considered this. I'm holding out for an iPad - but if my kids have access to all my data I'm not so sure.

Hang out with the engineers. They have to study and they'll have twice as many classes as you so you'll pick up some study habits.

That's true. Volunteering with the Cancer Society likely isn't going to get you in anyone's bad books, volunteering for a Pride Parade may.

Volunteer work is the exception - it's viewed very positively. If I've been doing canvassing I put it on my resume. It's at the end - just ahead of my academic qualifications. And that tells you something there - it's not very important, neither is the education (of which I have a lot, but after working for quite

Personally (and I'll stress interviewers are human, we're not all the same) unless you're an elite level athlete it's more of a 'meh' thing.

for public purposes I would eliminate all personal information. Obviously add it back for a real application but you're going to get huge spam now.

Don't put irrelevant stuff like hobbies. The fact that you Zumba isn't something I care about when hiring an accounting analyst.

A question - how big a TV will most people have?

My Terrain isn't much worse on gas than my old V40. Not all cross overs are fuel guzzling beasts, nor are all mid-size wagons hyper-efficient (that CTS-V idea?).

One thing to consider is that infants tend to have a ton of stuff and a rear facing car seat that takes up a ton of space. But once they're over 20lbs you can go to a forward facing seat and that opens up a lot of room. Plus as they get older you don't tend to carry the playpen and you can use a smaller stroller

I had a V40 for 10 years - it handle two kids from infancy to when the eldest was 10 years old. It was a great car and could easily stow a good size stroller, bag and play pen.

that is cool

I like both. For browsing the trackpad's fine but when typing the eraser head is better.

the Newton was awesome, I still have mine

part of the thing you may not be considering is that the weight can spiral out of control as you add it.

profound

close - this was likely 1998 or 1999.

I'll add dot matrix printers - WD-40 isn't the way to fix them. Of course by the time we caught up with the one guy who was doing this he'd 'fixed' three.

As a manager that's had to do a lot of hiring I think this post is spot on.
