"Wormhole closed in Five"

Anyone else wishing May had her own show? (Or at least a more prominent role in this show)

"She's in there for Coulson to take on a paternal relationship with"

Do you think David Ramsey ever goes to Summer Glau's trailer just to brag about how much more screen time he gets than her?

2008 Ollie disappears with Sara
2013 Ollie returns with a beard
2013 Bearded Vigilante starts cleaning up the city

The biggest problem with the Skye casting is her age. The character of Skye should have been someone in their early 30's that has been chewed up and spit out by the world which is why she ended up hacking from a van with a with a gigantic chip on her shoulder against the world and mistrust for any agencies.

I think the bigger problem isn't Brett Dalton's fault, but the fact that in a cast of 6 then 3 of them (Ward/May/Coulson) are written to be serious stone-faced agents, and then the one character who is actually written to have charisma is played by an actress that seemingly is incapable of showing any (Skye/Chloe

Bringing up castle made me smile. I tend to hate procedurals but I watch it because my wife and I love Nathan Fillion but the problem with Castle is that they lessened the fun team dynamic by making it all about Castle and Becket (who is possibly the least interesting character in the cast). And rather than getting a

"May is at least as badass as Black Widow, so I don't know why people would be bitching about her so much. But what do I know, I'm starting to warm up to Agent Ward."

When a show starts struggling with an audience then the first band-aid that the writers puts on tends to be a shout out to the shippers.

I blame Chloe Bennet/Skye as this shows biggest flaws. It's a Whedon show so it's not a surprise that a young spunky female was going to have the spotlight. But Chloe Bennet just doesn't seem to have the skill as an actress to elevate her character beyond her script. She's just far too "normal" to have any sort of

Agent Stare Blankly

The casting really is the most surprising part.

I agree with you, but the problem with Alias is that it never was as popular as it should have been because the stories were too complicated for the "average viewer".

It would actually be that they're heading towards galactus and instead of simply curving the flight path to avoid him they do the patented "Stop in mid air, reverse jets to slowly rotate plane 180*, move in direction you just came from.." ^chomp^

I guess you are choosing to intentionally miss the point. You can have a core cast but rotate in characters as necessary.

Um… Helicarrier?

But if thats they case then why have such a redundant team?

Two things bother me about this show:

Ugh. Shippers ruin every show.
