Oh man, great idea. Get a cheap lease on a Nissan Leaf or whatever, and put the Hummer on Turo. That’s maybe the only way out of this. 

Pray some poor idiot slams you hard enough to kill the battery pack and that your gap insurance covers your stupidity. Otherwise keep driving it or rent it out on Turo and let one of those idiots ruin it.

Wealth is synonymous with luck, more than anything else.

I was once a mechanic and the number of 6 figure car drivers that are running around with bald tires and begging their mechanic to put in cheap regular oil instead of synthetic oil is insane. Half of these guys don’t have 2 dimes to rub together.

Just because he’s an idiot doesn’t mean he’s subprime. In fact, I would argue that this guy probably has absolutely platinum-plated diamond-studded credit for any lender to write this deal in the first place, and at *only* 10% at that. That is astounding given the level of negative equity here.

I’ve learned to never under estimate the ability of stupidity... These days I expect stupidity and am occasionally surprised by intelligence.

Also, spending money is not synonymous with wealth.

I’ll say it again, if you’re financing this guy by buying a Tesla, you really need to check yourself. That company doesn’t exist to me until he’s long gone.

In a recent (now deleted) tweet he wondered aloud why Joe Biden and Kamala Harris haven’t yet been assassinated.

In addition to yanking his security clearance, revoke his citizenship and deport him back to South Africa from whence he came. From there, maybe he can move on to a dictatorship more in line with his personal beliefs.
