Steve-O has been a random inspiration for me to keep maintaining my drug recovery (albeit a few relapses). I figured if that guy can do it so can I.

Ah, yes, upbeat fun music that still manages to address real issues at the same time. Better shit alllll over that.

Look after yourself and each other. It was tough times out there even before COVID.

Is this a new trend on The AV Club: when someone has a different opinion, the people who disagree claim they don’t know what they’re talking about? Or is that just America today?

It’s an easy fuckin’ question to answer.

Why? All you gain by not caring about a source of entertainment is a failure to be entertained. That's a loss for you, with no upside, other than your ability to brag about not caring, but that just makes you insufferable, which also seems like it would be a net loss for you.

Spider-Man 2 is better but the Raimi original is probably my nostalgic favourite.

One Day At A Time 2.0 worked because it was mostly an entirely new show with only the faintest relationship/resemblance to its parent series and was just a good show in its own right. The vast majority of the audience probably were only dimly aware that it was a remake at all and didn’t care.

Maybe just don’t reboot/remake every random series? Fuller House, Roseanne/The Conners, and Saved by the Bell worked because Full House, Roseanne, and Saved by the Bell have never fallen out of syndication (except for a few months after Roseanne went all racist on Twitter). Multiple generations have watched those

Yeah, trauma doesn’t move in straight lines. I’m not a victim of sexual abuse, but I have other traumas I’m dealing with. Sometimes everything feels okay and then suddenly one day it doesn’t. Sometimes on a day like any other you think, “I have to say something.”

I mean, they kinda tried Xtreme Wheel once. It didn’t go over well.

So first off read the article, please.Second if that’s a joke, haha. Third, if that’s serious:

That comment just represents the worst of cancel culture. I mean the standard response to that is “cancel culture isn’t real, it is invented by the right” blah, blah, blah, but how can people that when a really beautiful and

Best part of the episode was the little girl who played Coraline celebrating after the sketch.

LMFAO.

We have a winner!

I have never heard of Brandi Carlile and actually looked her up to see if she is Belinda Carlisle’s daughter (before I saw the different spellings). I guess she’s more country maybe? Thought her performance was great.

If any part of you is “grinning,” I think you’re the complete asshole in this situation.

Sad to see Beck Bennett go, he really brightened up the place.

This movie is full of three dimensional characters. The evil stepmother even gets a little line about how badly she was abused as a child, and Angelical Huston sells it perfectly while never letting you lose the desire to see her downfall. Great goddamn movie.

I went to rehab for cocaine as well, I’m approaching a year and I’ve basically had to reduce a lot of things in my life that feel like I’m performing for people (work events, stepping down from roles in friends weddings, summer BBQ’s, dates). I can’t imagine being a literal a performer struggling with cocaine abuse.
