I totally agree! I’m black and my natural hair also isn’t far off from Nicole’s, but I’ve been straightening it for the past 25 years or so. I see a lot more black women doing the natural look, but I haven’t been able to convince myself I can pull it off after all this time, so I never try.

Right?? I thought it was so gorgeous, and she knew how to rock big curly hair like few I’d ever seen.

What I find most disappointing about statements like these is the complete lack of awareness from people who are supposed to be ‘progressive’. Even Daniel Radcliffe made a statement recently about how it’s “undeniable” that Hollywood is blatantly racist.

I check it daily, though I’m not fully convinced that the race is as tight as they project. For a variety of reasons, I’m really not worried very much. I fully expect to see President-Elect Hillary Clinton on Nov 9th.

I think it’s because she actually has some outspoken liberal friends (though Bill Maher is the only one I can think of), the gays (supposedly) love her, and she apparently has a penchant for dating black men (so I’ve heard). Such things do not jibe with the garbage that comes out of her mouth.
