They are using a motor to spin those cylinders.  They’re just leveraging that energy cost to get much more motive force than they would get by powering a propeller.

I usually appreciate your comments but I think you’re poorly informed here. It’s pretty clear that Zach is an idiot. But it’s not clear that he committed DV. The police didn’t think so. Her mom doesn’t think so. They intentionally avoid mentioning Courtney as much as possible in the document because no one close to

Why would he be in prison? It’s still not clear that any DV was committed by anyone. There certainly was none by Meyer, and Courtney’s own mother says that Courtney invented this whole thing as revenge.  When the police agree that there is no evidence of DV, what should he have done?

So, you just like to make up facts then?

I’d feel a lot more certain Urban should go if Courtney hadn’t admitted she didn’t want Zach fired before. It’s clear that she wanted to keep the money flowing. She only went public with this once that was over.  Since the victim in this case didn’t want him fired, why should Urban be punished for that?

Wide receiver coach.

I found this article confusing because the author argues both that the men are too competitive and that they don’t let her be competitive. The thing she doesn’t seem to realize is that a ton of those guys would play that same way in the backyard with their kids. They’d hog the ball, they’d knock people over.

That’s Jobu’s dominion

Rules get changed when there is a clear need.  The correct take is to argue that it should be enforced universally.

Not at all. I’m saying there needs to be a clear line that separates the two divisions. That is all the benefit you need.

The same benefit as any other rule. A clear line so people know what is allowed.

I’m listening the words you are saying - it’s just that they’re incoherent.

But that’s just it. Even if they only enact these rules one event at a time, and only once a single competitor is found who is clearly over that limit, I’m in favor of it. The answer is to enforce them here, and then argue to enforce them in hammer, not to not enforce them at all.

That’s your obsession, not mine. I’m happy for Caster to live her life as whatever gender she chooses. Just like I’m happy for physically male people realize they are trans and live as women without medical intervention. But competition has rules. Women’s sports are separate from men’s. There clearly is a spectrum of

You seem obsessed with equating “women’s sports” with “sports anyone who identify as a woman should be allowed to participate in”. If that’s the case, my question is key. Feel free to download a browser extension that will auto replace “women’s sport” with “low T sports”. That’s really what the dividing line has been

Here’s the thing. Saying “we can’t do anything until we do everything” is stupid and self defeating.

You do realize that many feminists have been arguing for years that sexists have been oppressing gymnastics and ice skating for years, by downgrading the more athletic women who compete as “unfeminine”. Once you get rid of those sexist (and often racist) policies you end up with the more athletic women winning. Except

In that world there are no world class female athletes.  You do realize that.

I agree with you that you don’t know.

If you want to rename the divisions to “open” and “t-limited” to feel better, go ahead.
