I think the shots are pretty good. He is obviously shooting for a more commercial appearance and I think he nailed it. When you shoot for sponsors it is common to have a sort of over-the-top look, especially in the tuner world. Lots of work in post. Sun flares, saturation, unrealistic dof. Common practice.
