Yes! I commented before I saw your comment. It is THE quintessential early eighties soundtrack. Hell, even the Psychedelic Furs cut is superior to the one on PIP.

Are we reading the same AV Club comments? The ones I’ve read are all, “OMG I’m so invested in these awful people.”

I watched two. whole. seasons. of GOT before I was like, “Why the fuck am I doing this, especially when I’m in the middle of at least 5 other series?”

I generally loathe Aaron Sorkin’s work — overwritten overrated — but I love Succession.

It looks like both Botox and filler to me. That’s all I got. 

But they’re the thin blue line! 

I’m pretty sure iTunes, when I still used it, got rid of some songs I paid for after they no longer carried them in the library, so I don’t see why they couldn’t also do that for movies and tv. 

I don’t find them tacky (or even if I did…I’m partial to tacky over boringly tasteful, I guess), I just think French pedicures are taking the most basic of looks and making it kinda creepy.

I know this isn’t a fashion blog, but I would love to know the designers are.

I don’t have time to write a full response right now, but as the hosts note in this 20-minute teaser, they cover all main issues of the full podcast because they think the issue is important enough that they want to disseminate the info to the largest number of people.
