It was the most stressful movies I have ever seen. I’m glad I saw it in the theatre — my last one before the pandemic — because I would have pressed pause about 100 times at home. Definitely worth seeing.
To be fair, I don’t think she was running around giving away major plot points. I think she was just frustrated with students who were obsessed with being “original” without really understanding the fundamentals of good storytelling.
I can’t speak for the book, as I haven’t read it, but I would argue that Fight Clubs stands up even when you know the twist in a way that the Sixth Sense doesn’t.
