That’s fair. Maybe “love to see” is a bit strong. More like I think it’s unfair that I think she will likely be blamed for an overall meh show, making the powers that be less likely to greenlight other shows starring women of colour (even the lightest, most palatable to the masses kind). I honestly haven’t seen her in

It was also pretty average — at least from what I could tell. I only saw one episode and wasn’t overly impressed. It wasn’t bad, per se, but in an era of endless content, you have to be better than “not bad.” Would love to see Kravitz in another starring role so I hope this isn’t used as a knock against her (vs. the

Lemme put it this way...would you rather have them listen to this or be Jake Paul fans?

A little more graphic than, say, Like a Virgin, but same idea.

Momoa is hotter, but the Rock has a better personality.

Right? It’s 2020. Are people really starved for content?

Seriously. I’m starting to think Disney has plants in this comments section.

Yeah, I don’t get this at all. My Netflix queue is, like, 300 titles long (no joke; I’m easily suggestible, apparently) and I’m in the middle of several series already. And these live action remakes are ridic cash grabs in the first place. No thanks, Disney.

Fair enough. I’m in Toronto, have a good friend in a poly relationship (and have had at least one poly friend in the past). She’s hardly ostracized (her church-going mom has met her boyfriend), but there’s definitely still a sense that her relationship is fringe.

Cheating is fucked up, but extremely common. Open relationships are still regarded as kinky weirdo sex territory by the mainstream rather than an agreed upon, mutually beneficial, healthy arrangement.

I didn’t see it as a total evisceration so much as side-eye/skepticism. I’m Canadian (like Reynolds) and I can’t imagine ever getting married on a plantation (but then I hated Gone with the Wind even as a kid).

That’s why I give it the side eye too. She may very well need a conservatorship, but all I know is, I took several weeks’ sick leave before giving birth in June because my doctor wrote me a note without my even asking. I have a history of anxiety, but don’t take medication for it and manage it through meditation,

And yet people keep starring him...

Since 2008? That long? That’s all of her thirties (so far) and late twenties.

I feel this way about Zoe Kravitz’s tattoos (even though they are mostly quite small).

Yes, I shouldn’t be surprised that a show about a powerful and influential woman made by a man...still manages to focus on a man. And one who, at least here in the Commonwealth (I’m in Canada) seems to be known best for his “off-colour” (ie old school racist) remarks. As in, that is all I knew about him before

I know. I just think it’s funny how the creator more or less admitted that Queen Elizabeth herself is not that interesting — average in every way — so all the drama around her is drawn out and emphasized. But even within those parameters, there are more interesting storylines. Princess Anne was kidnapped! But instead

I think you’re thinking of Ben Carson. Herman Cain was not a doctor, as far as I know.

Prince Philip is the worst (I will never forgive the Crown for making him seem way more compelling than he actually is rather than, you know, focusing on the woman who actually holds the crown), but he looks good for his age. Obscene wealth and privilege helps that way, I guess.
