Explorers launched with some pretty big quality issues, for one.

Because an Ascent has a CVT, less warranty and a bland and basic interior. Ford has less warranty and nowhere near as nice of an interior.

Trump is blaming Bubba Wallace because he's black, not because he was wrong (he wasn't). It's what racists do.

Low-speed driving is the Achilles heel of any DCT, whether it’s from the master (VW) or the apprentice (Ford). Acura even went so far as to attach a torque converter to their DCT to smooth out low-speed driving dynamics.

Nah, because a cop can stop-and-frisk you, charge you with drug offenses, etc...all the DOT can do is issue parking citations and moving violations.

I’m thinking she lives in a halfway house if she lives anywhere at all.

Fox/conservatives are going after Kimmel because he’s taking BLM’s side and being mean to the clown in the White House. Kimmel has *gasp* possibly grown as a human being and isn’t the same person he was all those years ago. I say possibly but he seems on the level these days. Doesn’t excuse what he did then but who he

Reading her post it seems like her story hinges on the ‘I was 17' part but Google tells me that’s the age of consent in NY so....?

What are you talking about with the blinking bit?

Money problems. It’s a design that predates the whole touchscreen thing. The phone pad and HVAC pictogram first showed up in the 2003 XC90. They got put on the “waterfall” center console in the 2005 S40/V50. Pretty nice in 2005, 11 years later not so much, even if it is easier to use than touchscreens.

That center stack design is absurd. Why Volvo? Why?

As others have pointed out, it’s the city issuing the order.

Jesus. I don’t think I realized how bad it had gotten. I mean kudos to you for living the car nut dream, but you were teetering on hoarder territory there. Once junkyard Kias start to pop up on your property, your hobby starts to officially become a problem.

Traffic wardens is a good idea. There’s no reason we need a heavily armed paramilitary force out on our roads spottily enforcing traffic laws and using those enforcement activities as a pretext to go fishing for reasons to arrest people.

If police can destroy private property because it could be used as a weapon, then they can destroy pretty much anything they want. Th argument is absurd on its face. Hopefully Minneapolis will be paying to have these tires replaced and identifying and firing these officers.

If you are trying to participate in a conversation that began with “theoretically possibly” and saying it’s pathetic that I referenced a theoretical idea on the topic?

Here’s my problem with this charging scenario: what happens when there are lots of people using BEVs on the highways? right now the usual rest stop on the NY Thruway has 10 to 12 refueling pumps. Lets say every car takes 10 minutes to refuel, including pulling up to the pump, paying, pumping, and pulling away. What

I know multiple owners of the G35/G37 and every one of them kept it 6+ years, one had it for 11 years I think. They were a hell of a car for the price, and hit so many nails on the head. The Q50 began its decline when it became too ‘soft’.

I own a 2009 G37. It is a reasonably priced, fast, reliable, moderately attractive, good handling, and overall fun to drive four door sedan (compared to a Camry). My prescription is for them to go back to building things like the G37 - quality, inexpensive, RWD alternatives to the Germans.

Ah, yes, because if there’s one thing we’ve all learned over the last few weeks, it’s that the cops can be trusted to do the right thing.
