Craftsman is essentially a store brand for Lowe’s now. I think Kobalt quality has gone down and they bought Craftsman to reinvigorate that segment. The solidly mid-tier range which is good enough for any weekend DIYer.

Harbor Freight definitely has a few different lines of high end tools. They have a lot of pretty decent hand tools that are priced slightly lower than Husky/Kobalt store brands with somewhat comparable quality. I bought a pair of small pliers from there and they are definitely a huge step above generic Amazon quality…
I owned a WK2 and I think it’s still a timeless design, but FCA has made some really ugly cars. Very ugly cars.
The next gen Grand Cherokee was light years beyond what this car was. The 2011 brought impressive styling and interior improvements while the 2014+ models brought even more impressive drivetrain improvements. Before 2011, the GC kinda sucked. It was part of the new malaise era for Jeep.
Or it was crashed by some now unemployed tech at the dealership. Or a now blacklisted reviewer.
Official support does imply the feature will stick around and HBO will dedicate resources to make sure their player stays compatible with it.
The Z lacks that tight feel of a well put together sports car. But it’s still overall a compelling package. Especially considering how numb modern cars feel. The rough but rev-happy VQ37VHR is really fun to wind out and it still feels very solid. It’s also fairly light by modern standards.
The V37VQHR is not a great engine, but it’s so much better than the Toyobaru engine. It’s not just because of the power. It’s actually pretty fun to wind out and is exciting to drive. The handling is tighter on the 86, but the Z is a very competent overall sports car.
Then just don’t buy it. I have a feeling sales will be fine.
The G35 is literally the USDM version of the Nissan Skyline in Japan. They literally rebadged the Nissan Skyline and sold it as the G35/G37/Q50/Q60 in America. There’s no additional money being invested into the Skyline other than badging.
I’m not sure why any enthusiast would want a company to kill off its luxury brand. Infiniti brought the Skyline to America. The Q50/60 are really not that far off from being good cars again. A modern infotainment, slightly better ergonomics, updated RWD platform that the new Z will surely be based on, and suddenly you…
If it was needed, there was a SARS vaccine in development. The thing is, we were able to contain that virus and it was much deadlier quicker, which actually reduced its contagiousness. So, the only reason there was never a working vaccine was because we didn’t need it. Making vaccines is basically a matter of time…
If you visit SSL pages (https), then your ISP only knows what domains you’ve visited. They can’t even see what page on a domain you’re visiting. All the data is encrypted. Decrypting that data is way too difficult to be worth it for almost anything that’s not a national security issue. And it’d have to be done in real…
Alpinas don’t use M Sport body trim. It’ll look more like the luxury trim V8 X7 (X7 xDrive50i). The only recent Alpina that used M Sport trim was the BMW M340i based Alpina B3. The only reason is because BMW never released a non M Sport inline 6 3 series. It looks a little goofy since Alpinas are supposed to be more…
The Maxima and Q50 are not only a $3k difference. Maybe if you take a very well optioned Maxima compared to a bare bones Q50. The Maxima has always been a large FWD premium economy car like an Avalon or Taurus. The Q50 has always been a luxury car, though it is not very good anymore, it has a ton of potential. There’s…
I said the same thing when I first started seeing pictures of this car. But in person, it has a commanding presence. It may not necessarily be beautiful, but it has a modern and imposing quality.
Most of the people who would be able to afford a car like can still likely afford a car like this.
Again, it was not axed for the LCI. Plenty of LCI M3s and M4s got the CF driveshaft. It was just axed in the last year or two of production because of European emissions equipment requiring a thinner driveshaft and BMW just deciding to keep one part globally (probably due to cost, sure). And I’m sure it made an…
When you realize he’s just experiencing his rebellious attention-seeking phase most kids go through in high school and college, this all makes sense. He just happens to be a 48 year old billionaire. I am convinced he is a highly functioning autist.
I’m just mentioning LCI because they are worth more on the market. I’m not trying to imply they are more desirable unless you’re looking for a competition model. Also, the CF driveshaft was put on LCI M3s. It was only removed in the last year or two. It makes basically no real difference in the car anyway. Also, the…
