You’re absolutely right. If worn properly, masks do work at least to some degree. A woman at the grocery store went so far as to say that she thinks people are overreacting and she refuses to even use hand sanitizer.

Lambskin condom is far more effective than nothing at all, though. You’re right that it would be far more effective for people to wear masks and goggles. If you’re going to look anti-social you might as well go all out.

Please stop spreading misinformation. I have a 10 pack of masks I bought for work around the house. They’re all N95 masks. I bought a respirator for spray painting a while ago and it’s P95 (even higher filtration than N95). The vast majority of “dust maks” at Home Depot are N95 masks that would be effective at

Winter tires are made for snow traction and cold weather driving. Winter tires do just fine on cold asphalt, they’re meant to. They’re just not meant to drive on warm asphalt.

I’ve never seen a car that came with some type of sport wheel option that couldn’t size down at least one size. My current car came with 18" wheels but can size down to 17". My previous car came with 19" wheels but I sized them down all the way to 17".

Which winter tires did you get? I never noticed a huge difference between mine. My car came stock with 19 summer tires and I downsized to 17" winter wheels/tires though. They’re cheaper and probably more comfortable and quiet as well. In Chicago, mine lasted four years and still had tread left when I sold them (moved

Toyota used the B58 which is closely related to the S58. Both have closed decks and forged internals. The B58 is BMW’s masterpiece and the awesome thing is they put it in almost every car they make.

I thought those were supposed to be 18" wheels. Are you sure they’re not reps? They look a tad too large for the E46 M3. Even the stock F80 M3 comes with 18" wheels. The upgraded sizes (for comp and non-comp) are 19".

Right, that’s exactly what I said in my first comment:

You’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. My point is that the point of things like gas guzzler tax (at least partially) is to discourage people from buying a particular type of vehicle. When it’s rolled into financing, the impact is basically invisible to financially illiterate people. For them it’s just another 2-3

The metal would be ground to dust before the final tooth even moved enough for the naked eye to see.

Obviously. I mean from a consumer protection standpoint. Forcing them to pay all taxes without financing would do away with sign and drive situations which are the source of a lot of bad decisions. If you’re buying a $50,000 car, then you had better be prepared to pay $4,500 in sales tax up front. And if it’s a gas

It’d be interesting if states required car purchases to have taxes paid up front and not be finance-able. I bet it’d be great for consumers (in promoting responsibility at least). Of course, there is zero chance a law like that could be passed. Carmakers and dealerships would lobby endlessly against it and congressmen

Swine flu started in Mexico. It was just first detected in the U.S.

Stop spreading that terribly false information. COVID-19 is far more deadly than seasonal flu. I can’t tell you how many times I see this bit of misinformation spouted on social media by know-it-alls that don’t know it all. They latch on to something that sounds interesting and never ever verify it.

Children have actually been surprisingly resistant to COVID-19.

Ah I was confused. I thought you were saying you had the 365hp engine.

IMO all sports cars should have manual steering wheel adjustments. It’s unnecessary weight and is something that rarely needs to be changed. And even if it does need to be changed, it is so much easier when it can be done manually. Electronics are slow while manual adjustment is immediate to the spot you like.

The Hyundai logo also looks much better as a negative.

Most full time jobs have paid time off for sick days. But I generally agree with you. Uber is meant to be a part time job or just a way to make an extra buck on your long drives. How could Uber give drivers any kind of benefits in a fair and balanced way? I do believe their reliance and abuse of “contractor” status is
