I don’t like non-round wheels, but who cares? It’s just a steering wheel. If the car has the performance, I’d drive it. Of course, without a manual, it’s pointless. Might as well get a Porsche.
I kind of agreed with you, but then realized that even if all that were true, he still has no justification for pointing his gun/taser at the victim and arresting him. Even if the kid were in the wrong, it was still an accident. He didn’t purposely ram into the cop.
The average overtime police get is usually way overblown. And if they’re really working that much overtime, what’s their quality of life like? Incidents of alcoholism, depression, suicide, and divorce are all much higher for cops.
The base WRX is $9,100 more (you forgot to account for transport fees), but the closest comparable WRX is really the STI which is almost exactly the same price expensive yet still slower than the CTR.
A properly chocked car, proper jack stands, and a backup safety device like a spare wheel or wooden blocks under key points in the car could have saved his life.
I don’t let one feature ruin the whole thing for me. I like cars for the way they drive, not how well the CarPlay works. Mine is a 2017 (and a 2014, but that doesn’t have CP at all).
It’s rare but not unheard of for new features to get added via updates. It is extremely rare, though. BMW’s subscription model is ridiculous, though. The balls on them to require an infotainment upgrade AND a yearly subscription fee to get CarPlay.
First, let’s address the wired issue. If they simply allowed wired CarPlay, I’d be much happier. What BMW do you have that it allows wired CarPlay? As far as I know, no iDrive supports wired CarPlay. You’re just mistaken right? You’ve never actually tried this?
The Civic Type R is faster than the Golf R in virtually every way. It’s a superior performance car even with only driving the front wheels. The Golf R is a more upscale interior. There are reasons for both cars.
I’m fairly sure the Civic Type R is a superior performance car in virtually every way. The WRX simply has no chance of keeping up, even with all four wheels being driven symmetrically. Why would you rather choose a far less reliable and slower car? The only reasons I can think of are styling and use for light…
Very interesting read. It goes to show how similar we really all are.
You have the story all wrong because “The Root” likes to make things as one-sided as possible. If you go to actual news sites, you’ll see that the black dude actually tried to walk in while the white dude was trying to walk out. That’s what started the confrontation. Black dude wasn’t just waiting outside.
Would you change your mind if you knew that Cukor never allowed any stragglers in without verifying identity? I actually know some people that don’t allow anyone to go in their apartment complexes unless they are buzzed in or have a key/tag. Why is it assumed that he’s being racist? Maybe this guy is just one of those…
Without knowing how strict he his about “tailgating” we can’t really make any judgements here. If he’s super strict about it with everyone, then this doesn’t prove he’s racist at all. I know some people are very strict about it and most apartment complexes tell their residents to be vigilant about not allowing people…
You cannot use it with the cord. That is simply not an option. I’d use it a lot more if that were the case. Sounds like you’ve never tried it.
I irrationally detest when my socks get wet so I guess I understand.
What are you talking about? GM’s CarPlay service doesn’t require an OnStar subscription. Unless they just changed it.
Anything could happen, of course, but do you honestly think GM is going to make a class-leading or even a class-meeting interior? Heck no. At best it’ll be, “OK for the price”.
Except a lot of people on here CAN afford a Corvette, new or used.
