Lawyer? LMAO. What are the damages? A tank of gas and $100 worth of mileage on the car? I’m on the side of the owner here, but be realistic. It’s just another Range Rover. It’s expensive, but it’s not limited nor is it special. The owner also had a loaner so the difference in mileage probably isn’t even that much.

Because at the end of the day, it’s just a car. What were the damages exactly? $50 worth of mileage? $100 of gasoline? Life’s too short to spend so much time fighting over stuff like that. Yes, it’s wrong, so the owner should give the dealership a chance to make it right. Maybe they can pay for a detail from a third

Actually, it was more that Chrysler engineers worked with Mercedes engineers and “borrowed” some suspension components or most of one of the subframes. The chassis itself was otherwise all original though it’s not like it was that good to begin with. The car sells because a lot of people like the way it looks. To me

Whoa, deep man.

To be honest, it’s more fun to drive a slow car with a manual than an automatic. For a slow car, driving a manual is super easy and can be much more rewarding that driving it with an auto.

I mean, that’s not just for pickups, though. I’ve been saying this forever about regular cars as well. Something with about 40-50 miles of EV range could be used as pure electric 90% of the time for 90% of people yet still have the ability to go 300-400 miles if necessary. Or the electric motor and gas engine could be

The punch is bad, though. I’m willing to bet most people wouldn’t have made that their very first reaction from getting unstuck. It’s just bad optics.

It has some bad crash test ratings. It is significantly heavier than all of its competition and its handling is under average. BUT, the people buying it obviously don’t care about handling or older crash test standards. It sells very well. So that alone is good reason to keep the platform. Let’s not try to pretend it

First, the GM W platform was pretty comically outdated by the end of its life. None of the cars made with it were ever really competitive with their competition. Second, the G class is a very unique case being a purpose built off-road vehicle. And by the end of its life, it REALLY needed an update. It was hilarious

Dr. Dre donating $70M to the school only benefits its faculty and students and enriches the school. It opens up MORE space for the rest of the students.

I’ve been complaining about rising insurance in SoCal. We pay about $2200/year for two new cars and two drivers. I guess I should stop complaining.

For all intents and purposes, this is an SUV. If you want to replace crossover, fine, but let’s not get caught in semantics when we’re trying to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a minivan vs a CUV/SUV.

I’m assuming the Telluride uses a transverse engine which would make that virtually impossible. The best we could hope for is maybe the 3.3tt V6 from the Stinger. I doubt that would happen though. This car has sufficient power and it probably keeps prices WAY down by having only one engine option.

With 262 lb-ft of torque, I bet the limiting factor in towing is mostly the chassis or brakes. I doubt tow rating would go up much if at all with a bigger motor.

You shouldn’t insult the good things someone has done just because you don’t agree with their policies. You can disagree with McCain’s policies, but you shouldn’t condone denigrating his past service and time as a POW just because you don’t like them. That’s weak.

Why do you care that they exist? Does it affect you in any way whatsoever? Just be glad Porsche makes money off these things so they can keep the lights on.

I’m rolling my eyes really hard right now.

Wait, this is worse than this?

I’d rather have an N70 (the hardcore N version of the Genesis G70). Transverse AWD cars usually still have torque steer and weight balance issues.

Brodozers are annoying, but the vast majority of trucks are purchased by businesses. It’s simply not cost efficient for them to buy electric pickup trucks.
