There are a lot of us still on places like Jalopnik that buy brand new manual cars. I’ve bought three (G37 sedan, Chevy SS, 335i) in the past 8 years brand new. I’d be careful about calling out people on Jalopnik. There are a lot of enthusiasts with money on Jalopnik and Reddit. Most don’t comment, but some do.

I was really hoping to be able to buy the future M340i (which includes a 380hp variant of the B58 and a true mechanical LSD) with the manual. Unfortunately it looks like BMW is axing the stick from all but the M3/M4 in America.

Did you not read? The wait after putting that money down is 2-4 MONTHS. Not weeks.

Ferrari is not McLaren in terms of component cost. When it comes to cost, a lot of it has to do with the badge. Yes, McLaren is the hottest supercar manufacturer right now, but they have very little pedigree. The F1 was their only (albeit amazing) supercar before their new crop of V8 supercars all based on the same

The engine is nice, sure, but $25,000? I personally think $25,000 is an excellent price for the whole package, but not just for the motor. You can get an LS9 crate motor for $21k and that has more power and torque. Yeah this is a McLaren V8, but still. At least the LS9 has a warranty and a ton of support.

The base E60 535i had a far sportier suspension than an E class by far. Now the F10 and F30 535/335 cars had boring suspensions. The later BMWs all have terrible suspension tuning. That’s why I specifically called out the E46 and E90 3 series as well as the E60 or E39 5 series.

What you’re trying to do is a white point correction. The hack listed above is to make colors more vivid.

The Blazer was never supposed to have much towing capacity or offroad capability. Most likely this new Blazer will have more towing capacity (if we take the new Explorer as a benchmark) and probably also be much more capable off-road. Also, the new Blazer will definitely be far more capable on the road where it will

What market? Why do you think the 4Runner is seriously outdated and the only one in the midsized BOF SUV market?

well, awesome for us.

The first thing everyone should know is that simple currency conversions are not good indicators of how much a car would sell in the United States.

I think vegans don’t like wool because they claim it’s cruel to sheep.

In high powered applications, hybrids actually make a lot of sense. Electric motors provide excellent low end torque and large turbochargers provide great torque at high engine speeds. So you could get an amazingly flat torque curve where a lot of modern cars with smaller dual scroll turbos have great low end torque

You can dislike BMW interiors, but it’s almost an objective thing that they’re far better than the Camaro or Mustang in quality. Most would agree that design is better as well.

If you want to go that route, then they should actually drive a Camaro. The Camaro is the best driver’s car out of the three. The M4 by far has the nicer interior and features. The Mustang does everything pretty well but I think the 4 series and Camaro beat it outright in most aspects.

Did Volvo copy the Genesis G70 brake intakes?

I agree. There’s no point in coming close to tailgating someone on a solitary freeway. A good 4-5 second gap is more than close enough if you’re trying to stay in a group.

If the car near you swerves, it’s better that you’re behind it or in front of it, not next to it.

Yeah the new Camry uses Li-ion batteries which definitely seems to improve the curb weight from past generations. It does cost nearly $4000 more though, so there’s that. Considering that the Camry can easily last 10 years with the first owner, that $4000 is probably easily recouped in saved fuel considering the 50+mpg
