Yeah, they are pretty damn good at contract builds, most of their stuff seems to fare as good (sometimes probably better) as the rest of the contracting manufacturers products do. They build the G-Class and Z4/Supra so do decent work, but they also build a few Jags, like the i-Pace, maybe they accidentally installed

This car is a diamond in the rough.

How much was that leaf new captain fail?

And a 10 year old Nissan Leaf is worth $5-7k.

In six years, this Polestar will be worth $10k or less

A lot of misinformation out there.

Probably doesn’t need brakes at all. I’m at 250k in my Hybrid C-Max, used exclusively for deliveries, on the original brakes and rotors. Prii use timing chains, not belts. I’ve changed my spark plugs 1 time (I should probably do that now.) There is no alternator, no starter. Engine head work????? Come on now. In fact,

I’m trying to think what kind of “maintenance” amounts to 13k in a single year. That has to be an outlier right, like you replaced a whole transmission or something? Paying 13k in maintenance every year seems like a lot.

This is BS. His take home was more like $40k. The mileage deduction is intended to cover his vehicle maintenance, fuel, car depreciation, etc. It shouldn’t be counted twice. Plus, his car was likely near worthless with well over 300k miles at the start of last year, so the depreciation is inflated.

As if they really needed to put an American flag on it. Those mods are as American as gun show in a school parking lot.

16: STAY HOME

if there’s a snow storm and you don’t need to go out, don’t. You are doing everyone a favor, and that includes emergency services, snow removal, public transit and all the other drivers that need to go out. Weather conditions can change rather quickly nowadays, and the line between

The good times never last forever.

Of all the scams ever pulled on the American people, linking cars to freedom has to be the biggest. Cars aren’t freedom. They’re expensive and the damage that having “Just Drive” as the default answer to every problem has caused so many more self perpetuating problems.

I hope they don’t try to recover the plane from that depth. Better to leave it in place than to accidentally destroy a fragile artifact. It can be studied from the bottom of the ocean with how good our ROVs have become.

Not just the ride, but lack of cold-weather and snow traction.

I just checked the wear bars on my Model 3 yesterday. I am about due... after 51000 miles.

The EQS starts in the low $100k range so my sympathy is lean for Mr. Semel.

Cool, you can reuse that list for the “worst coupes ever made” list, just remove the ATS and Scirocco.

Now playing

Exactly how long was the wait in that line???”

Tired of the old people complaining about “the grid is not ready” then oppose any money on improving the grid that would improve our infrastructure and provide good American jobs. So much bitching about EV is just fragile masculinity just like bitching about solar and wind.
