DEI is literally about hiring the most qualified person regardless of skin color/race/religion instead of some less qualified white male who was a member of your fraternity or golf club.

There were over 100,000 cars on the road before the first dedicated gas station was built. There were 500,000 cars on the road before they built a drive up one several years after the Model Ts introduction.

They’re not dressed like they’re in the tour de France, they’re dressed in the appropriate road cycling clothing. Clothing made to be comfortable on long rides. I never hear anyone make the same comment about people wearing basketball shorts or a running singlet.

I have not seen a single person suggest replacing every single car with an EV by 2035.

Believe it or not the vast major of cars don’t burst into flames so it’s not a major issue for most people or fire departments.
