I wish they put the Crv face on the civic instead of the doofy face it has had for a while now

the wing would almost work, other that that the fact that you need to have balanced aerodynamic loads, CP somewhere near the CG of the vehicle that is gong to be difficult to package using your concept since the wings will interfear with eachother.

I don't think it would be that sudden, it would probably be phased in over like 5-10 years and even then it would never completely replace commercial drivers because there are some jobs where it won't make sense.

I agree that it would cause a serious unemployment problem. I'm not sure what percent of American jobs are commercial driving but I'd be willing to guess it is a not trivial number.

you're right but I'm guessing they'd still oppose it. Ultimately for some trucks I'm not sure how necessary that'd be to have a person in them. If they had automatic doors on the trailer they could go from dock to dock, the only input being when to leave once loading/unloading is done
