I doubt the transaxle out of an mr2 would fair very well with the torque from the 427. the same can probably be said for the poor little corvair transaxle they're using, but at least they didn't have to fabricate a custom adapter to blow that up. like someone else on here said you're really gonna need a hewland and

where are you going to get a cheap transaxle that will bolt to one of those though?

It's called thirsty thursday and it was always my favorite night of the "weekend"

The reporting on this is really unclear it leaves out the important detail of revision number on the part. Good design practice it to have both a part or drawing number and a revision.

"respect for "craftsmanship" is is in their genes"

yep, a runner and a driver, that's funny and costs little enough to be considered disposable. NP all day

they said that on 60 minutes and I laughed my head off. yeah, they've got a guy with a hammer and a chisel making the molds for their bodies. If you're using a CNC to make parts, it's not handmade.

That wheel and tire combination is not appealing

atom's can definitely run 7 of course it will be a dog if it only has 1gb or ram and you plan to use the internet...

10mm it wouldn't help a great deal, no. Thinking about the 3 forms of heat transfer:

I'm not sure about that, I'd also be concerned about the heat the engine valley is not a cool place and the mechanical properties of cfrp degrade in higher temperature applications

10mm?we're talking one end of the engine block to the other I'm sure it's at least 40cm, though I don't see where the motor/generator is on the engine. Yes, I'm sure they're using a superalloy, this is F1 after all!

a big reason not to do it normally is that long shaft will increase the inertia of the rotating assembly of the turbo, this will increase spool up time (turbo lag) on a normal turbo.

keep in mind that there is no proof that those airbags "failed" what they did is not deploy. The fact remains that they have not found the root cause of them not deploying. Here are some more facts, the airbag can deploy when the ignition is off additionally, airbags do not always deploy in the event of a crash.

At the expense of deflating Giz's hard-on for all thing 3D printing, I regret to inform you that you cannot print gun powder, or the self contained cartridges that the above model seems to fire. Cartridges for which the sale of is often regulated (you need the same license to buy the ammo as you do the gun).

Lets just go a head and extend that to don't buy GM vehicles.

REI is such a flaming rip off for pretty much everything largely because it is geared towards the hiking/backpacking. if you just want to go camping at say a short walk-in tent site, go to walmart you can get everything you need for 200$

I'd be surprised if they haven't developed exactly such a thing and they're just being quiet about it (which is wise). seems like something that a nice big stealth drone could be used for...

it means your gaming computer won't need to be huge anymore
