I would be so happy if Google would just release their calendar app for iOS.

It says it's only compatible with 5S and up which support Burst Mode. If I hold the shutter button on my 5 it takes a series of photos, is this different than Burst Mode?

Are there any apps that allow you to turn video into gifs?

I completely disagree with you. When it gets as cold as it has in Minnesota the last week, you NEED a block heater. Sure new cars with thinner, synthetic oil might start at -10 or -20 degree temps, they'll be a lot happier and will warm up quicker if they've been plugged in for a few hours. But my old 98 LeSabre ended

Yeah, at the time AMD had a hefty lead for price vs performance, but I'll probably go Intel for Hackintosh support with this build.

I'm at a point with my desktop where I don't know whether I should buy more DDR2 RAM or upgrade my CPU/MoBo/RAM all at once. I have an AMD Phenom II Quad 2.8Ghz, but only 4GB of RAM. I don't do much for heavy lifting on my computer anymore, used to do a bit of DVD ripping and encoding, but now it's all streaming

I'm glad you brought that up. I've never had roadside assistance up until recently (new car), which means I've never had to use it. I've been with friends who have had to use it on some frigid Minnesota mornings, and had to wait until nearly that night before they could get a jump start, and that was with AAA, but

Yep, on some it's free, on others it's a few dollars a month, which is cheap, but no sense paying for it if you get it free for 3 years/36,000 miles. Just need to remember to add it back when your car warranty runs out. I know this doesn't effect everyone, since not everyone drives a new car, but it might help some.

I know AmEx will extend the warranty, but I'm not sure about providing insurance.

Awe man Apps are back to their own post, always liked having all the deals together. -That Guy

Shep, I want to ask your opinion on a deal. Target has a minimum $150 trade in your current iPad towards a new one. I have an iPad 2 that has slowed to a crawl since updating to iOS8. They have the iPad Mini 2 with retina for $349, but I should be able to price match them to Best Buy for $300, so $150 out the door for

Agreed. Having a network that includes Mayo was the deciding factor for me. It's a peace of mind thing, if anything goes terribly wrong I know that my insurance will cover me.

I'm in the same boat. It's been a trip through lag-town for my iPad, but dreamy fine on my iPhone 5.

Gaffer's tape is magical stuff. It's definitely a specialty item and comes at a cost.

I would love to land a gig as a bike courier, but it wouldn't really fit into my regular work schedule.

Always have to keep your head on a swivel or he'll get'cha.

I agree, although I wish biking could just get our own sub-blog. Giz and Lifehacker already post about it occasionally.
