I too have an old AMBX system laying around that I would love to get working with my HDTV, but I think we're out of luck on this one though. Development has slowed to a crawl on AMBX and Phillips abandoned us long ago.

Agreed, I'd be more interested in how to replace the fabric on mine rather than just adding flair. Cool project though.

Despite living a mile from work and school used to drive my car every day. I now bike every day rain or shine. I live in a small enough town where everything I need is within a 2 mile radius, so groceries, beer, post office, and book store are all within reach on my bike. They also have the benefit of providing some

Do you think these would work well for a bike commuter? It's not often I get sweaty from my commute, but it would be nice to have something like this stashed in my desk for the times I do.

Nope, but that's my inner cheapskate talking. I probably would get one for the bedroom though. The whole headphone in the controller thing is awesome, especially for playing PS4 with my girlfriend around.

Definitely my favorite How I Work article yet. Thank you Ira for taking the time out of your life for this.

I own Xbox 360, PS4 and a Roku XD all hooked up to the same TV. The Roku is where I do all my media streaming, it's always on, has a good user interface, dedicated media remote, it's quiet and has lower power consumption. Now to start I bought the Roku so I wouldn't have to renew Xbox Live to get access to apps, but

That link is down for me too. Does anyone have a mirror of it?

We definitely want to make it to Ireland, everything else is up for debate. We're loosely planning for 3 weeks. She mentioned we can do a lot of travel by train there for relatively cheap. We're pretty young and keeping it relatively low cost is a priority for me, not so much for her. I'd like to get some photography

My girlfriend and I are planning a few weeks in Europe. She spent a semester there in college, I've never been. The trip is a few years out, but we're starting to plan for it financially. What would a good savings goal to shoot for or a trip planning resource?

Kind of a bummer that my salary is exactly half of what the median annual salary for my category is.

Overall I think the writers do a good job of balancing to-do apps, headphones and cleaning tips with the heavier topics like finances and life advice articles. Something I'd personally like to see are more articles for the questions that are looming out 2-3 years ahead of me buying a car, marriage, career advice, and

Love that she's got the Yaesu radio in her kit. I've been looking to get a Wouxun, although not in the same league as her Yaesu, but way cheaper. My bike commute is luckily about 1.5 miles, so I don't need much for fancy commuter kits.

I'm going to continue to hold off on the Roku 3. I have the older Roku 2xd which I've been happy with. They recently added the Youtube channel which is nice, and the menus and apps still run relatively well. I like the headphone port idea, which I use on my PS4, but I don't think it's worth the upgrade.

I'm with you on the Bing Rewards. I didn't think about switching user agents or bookmarking searches, so thanks for the tip. I created a few bookmark folders with 20 searches each, which allows me to open them all in one click.

I do a decent amount of freelance video work in addition to my full time job at a TV station. Mostly it's doing live sports (hockey) production for the university on Friday and Saturday evenings. It's good timing because it's over the winter when it's bitterly cold outside anyway, leaving my precious summer weekends

Well I just dropped my Spotify account because $9.99 is just too much. I'm clutching onto Verizon's unlimited data, so the offline access while nice, wasn't necessary, but only being able to shuffle albums/playlists on mobile is the worst. So hopefully Amazon Music will fill that void, the shipping perks alone are

I looked again yesterday, and they have a "savings goal" section, but it just mentions setting up multiple accounts which are no fee if you set up $25 monthly transfers.

Does anyone know how to create sub accounts at Wells Fargo. I'd love to be able to setup folders for a car downpayment, house downpayment, and investments. Haven't come across this feature short of opening new savings accounts.

Thanks, I think I'll finally bite on one of these buggers.
