Don’t you have to be 21 to get a Class C license? At very least to get a Class C to transport hazardous materials for christ’s sake?

It can’t be a joke because nobody would joke about a Michael Bay film retrospective.
It’s such poorly written comedic satire that it makes me upset.
Dunno. The Lacrosse bit was pretty solid.
‘Not all sports are divided by gender at the Olympics (Equestrian events are not)‘
If other events like track or swimming weren't sex-segregated, women just flat out wouldn't win.
In the purest pursuit of fairness, we should not segregate competition by sex. Being born male is a natural advantage, and we should not discriminate against natural advantage.
I wouldn’t assume that. Women who care about the ability of other women to compete, especially at the highest levels, and who understand why athletic competitions are divided by sex aren’t going to find this to be a terribly slippery slope.
Yeah, anybody can block anybody on Twitter. If the first I hear of you as a person is you up in my @s yelling at me about something (at the same time that THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ARE ALSO YELLING AT ME IN MY @S) I would feel no compunction blocking you, and fuck anyone who tells me I am obligated to patiently let…
Exactly. This article and the reactions remind me of Jezebel’s treatment when Semenya’s case came first became news. It’s completely one-sided and rather immature. Shrieking is not an argument.
I’m also baffled at how people aren’t getting something this obvious.
Thoughtfully disagreeing with a woman is not mansplaining, nor is it feminist to protect bad opinions from criticism simply because they are offered by a woman.
But then why compete based on men and women? That’s basically the only limitation in the Olympics based on nature. So that needs to be defined and then have rules in place. If you want it to be fair as you define it, get rid of the sex divide then and say goodbye to 99% of all the women athletes to get rid of that…
Is it that I have a womb?
Shhh. You’re acknowledging complexity and the possibility that the best solutions may be frustratingly imperfect. You’re ruining a perfectly good Hot Take!
So why not let men compete with women?
He means “typical” not “normal.” Make Semantics Great Again!
This is a complicated and fraught topic, one that deserves a more thoughtful take than the one offered by Ms. Moskovitz. This is not about some cruel effort by men to define and control women’s bodies, as she glibly asserts. It’s about trying to create an environment where women have a chance to compete and succeed,…
There’s a simple solution: get rid of gendered events at the Olympics. Done.
If we are going to hold two separate events for men and women, then we have to have some distinct dividing line between who is “a man” and who is “a woman.” It may not be fair to everyone, but you do have to draw a line somewhere.
