I assume that there’s some co-opting of Borg technology, that far in the future.

Darn robot taking all the jobs!

It doesn’t sound like this is an actual canon story - but if it is, this can be after Data was Captain. His B4 body could have simply been insufficient to “store” him.

this is called ‘an joke’, it happens when people make an funny and the joke happens with the ha-ha. gizmodo has been posting these for many years. welcome to the internet, try not to be a shitlord.

Some lady in her escalade was hell bent on flipping my off and running me down in my Fiesta. Came up to a light together and I gave her smile and a little wave and she flew into a rage like no other. Light turned green and she flew into my lane like a dumbass. Being nice hurts.

Too many of the people complaining that everyone should “get out of their way” are in situations where the right lane is going 5mph over, the left lane is going 10mph over, and they think they have some Satan-given right to go 15-20mph over the speed limit.

On the other hand, people don’t have a right to drive ONE mph over the speed limit. Not one. The left-hand lane is not the “laws don’t apply to me” lane, and people need to remember that too. If you are a criminal reckless driver, that’s not the responsiblility or problem of the law-abiding safe drivers around you.

The NSA and the State Department are working to expand Obama’s drone list to include their own designated targets. Soon the BLM will be playing as well. The Bundy folks are not so hackable as they have never learned to use computers.

This was literally my boyfriend lol. He barely left his first planet last night after learning like 75% of the Korvax language and getting a fully decked out ship with full inventory slot capacity and he has had the game since launch. Side note - learning about the Korvax was dope. I can’t wait to play (once I finish

I’m only a few hours in, haven’t left my planet because I want to fully explore it and because IT’S GOT SO MUCH GOLD. This will be my inspiration to continues on this path.

Chopping Mall is both equal measures terrible and awesome. It’s Terribaweome!

There are about thirty short stories and half a dozen novels exposing the holes that Asimov intentionally wrote into The Three Laws so that he could write stories around them. If you feel safe around a robot governed by the three laws, you are not very imaginative.

Look at that thing. It’s a garbage can on office chair wheels. You think it “ran over” a child? Really?

SkyNet’s starting small. Or, “starting mall.”

The three laws, as written, require a level of robotic intelligence that does not yet exist.

IT HAS BEGUN.

The machine is not dangerous. The parent was not watching her child. That robot moves at a snail’s pace and attracts a lot of onlookers and picture takers. It does stop around humans. I suspect the child ran into the robot instead.

Harwin. That robot knew what it was doing.

Being a robot is never having to say you're sorry.
