That 2014 CTS is a demo car with 5500 miles on it. It's "new" in the sense that it's still on an MSO and has never been titled... but it's not new in the sense that someone drove it for 6 months. And the probably drove it like a rental car.

I'm sorry but there is no way I could drive an ATS/CTS due to the absolute worst instrument panel fitted to a modern car. The half moon speedo is garbage! I could live with an odd tail light design, or some other strange detail.. but you have to look at this every day. Looks like it was inspired by mid 90's Astro.…
He's still around because of his apologist shills here like our boy Pat. Couple that with a new generation of people with money to spend on cars who don't know any better and that equals profits for JH.
Did you see his recent hilarious video of the suburban he souped up? That was the most solid "used car salesman" persona I've seen in a while.
Really, show me where. Oh and since when do people who rip off enthusiasts change?
Here here. I'm sick of seeing Jalop shill for him. I'm sure they're being compensated.
I too do not wish to hear anything more about John Hennessey. Except for maybe an obituary, and as such, I am adding this site jalopnik.com, to my web filter's "do not allow" list.
You seriously arguing the "I'm not in the grey so I've got more clout than you, lowly pleb" angle?
Pull your head out of this guy's ass, does he pay you to defend him? Jesus, there's a reason he has this reputation. He should be in prison, not making bank ripping people off and overcharging for parts, and getting all the press Jalopnik can give him.
You'd think differently if you had to write off a $70K car. Even if it was 13 years ago.
If they turned their businesses around tomorrow then they will be good? No both DMC and Super Replicas are scumbags and con artists and don't deserve to be held in high regard. Sure they can live their life, but they should still be known as who they are. And definitely shouldn't still be dealing with cars.
But as long as Super Replicas makes good cars in the future its ok, we forgive them!!!!
Random people? I'm sure you know all too well what has taken place, do those peoples experience not count just as much as yours? Those people who gave him thousands of dollars, do they not count as experience? I guess the only thing that counts was you had a "great experience" with him.....what package did you buy?
You have no idea what your talking about. What are you defending this person? I watched a coworker take legal action him against him about 13 years ago, his BS was truly astonishing. I'm really surprised he's still around.
He might have been in the grey, but he is right.
Right? I mean fuck, people on here want to key peoples cars and shit over parking bad but rip enthusiasts off.............shit lets just forget about that!!!
Please, explain how that has anything to do with what I said.
The cost for the HPE700 as tested is $65,874, which is probably among the cheapest ways to hit nearly 200 MPH in almost anything. Hell, even jumping out of an airplane only gets you up to about 120 MPH.
The apologies I saw were far from sincere, and I have no confidence that he's changed in any way other than simply resolving to not get caught next time. He's a narcissist, and that's what narcissists do — lie, cheat, and manipulate others.
Nobody that thinks they're "right" ever changes. Narcissists always think…
