Pretty sure they are going to do it. It is more than just speculation now, we have Toyota executives saying there is going to be a sports car above and below the FRS. We also have a concept vehicle. This is much more than the talks about a mid-engine Corvette we have been hearing for years.

My personal reason would be because of its price. In the $50,000 mark I would be shopping the 335i M Sport and the S4 Prestige. Yes they are smaller but still have plenty of room and offer just about the same straight line performance and are probably better to drive.
