I never seen a show work so hard to make a Gary-Stu hero out of its despicable lead. Christ. Sutter even has Jax's own mother telling him it's super duper A-OK that he murder her. Like that shit Bobby mumbled earlier this season about how Jax FEELS stuff, man, so it's all ok.

HAHAHAHA. Of COURSE she got cast in this.

OK, sure, great, we got the big "oh hey, Gemma did it" scene.

Very true.

YES. Because if the powerhouse video game 'The Sopranos: Road To Respect' has taught us anything, it's that we need more 'The Sopranos' spin-offs and double-dips into that universe.

Hey, remember back in the bygone days of 2013, when Breaking Bad began season 5.2 with Hank discovering the big secret about Walt, instead of saving it until the very end and thus being forced to generate a lot of inorganic, wheel-spinning go-nowhere plots to justify an entire season of television? Remember how

It's just disappointing, as I feel this series showed true hints at greatness (season four, aside from the CIA/Danny Trejo version of the "it-was-all-a-dream-and-Patrick-Duffy's-in-the-shower" cheat).

JESUS CHRIST.

While I usually really abhor Kurt Sutter & Co.'s stunt casting (Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, etc.), I was pretty impressed that they managed to get Jimmy Durante to cameo as a waitress.

Does this mean more interminable subplots about the rich femme fatale gal in season 2 with the dead tooth?

Sad to read about her personal troubles, but it isn't like Harmon and Co. had been dolling out sterling Shirley plots in Season 5… or any Shirley plots at all.

Of all the directions Sons Of Anarchy could have gone, of all the myriad of possibilities, Kurt Sutter and Co. seriously couldn't think of a way to wrench 13 episodes of drama out of a scenario in which a mother kills her son's wife/mother of his children (after also conspiring to kill his father)? And instead

The Sons Of Anarchy Drinking Game!
