I bought these the last time there was a sale, and I’m really impressed with them. They’re well-designed and well-built, they look and feel good, and the weight dials are clever and work well. So much easier than having a pile of dumbbells, or having to fuss with pins or move plates around to adjust the weight.

Black and brown people have no stronger ally in Congress than Bernie Sanders, and you’re entirely misreading what he said. To simplify: we need to fight for the marginalized, and also more generally for the 99%. You’re taking offense where none was offered.
When people do the right thing, I tend to give credit where credit is due. McCain is voting against the wishes of his party, the governor of his state, and his best friend. This was no doubt a difficult decision, given his circumstances and politics, but it’s also a hugely consequential decision that will benefit tens…
Rogers is officially credited with a score of 65,000,000 points on Centipede for Atari 5200; the second-place score is 58,078.

Hey, Gizmodo, what happened to your hard-and-fast rule about not covering Kickstarter projects? Not so hard-and-fast when you can gratuitously slam Apple in the process, eh? Well, looks like you should have stuck with hard-and-fast, because you just got burned when you took it soft and slow.

Nobody (nobody other than Brent Caswell, anyway). I've read a lot of asinine putdowns of iOS and the iPhone, but I've never heard even the lamest flame-baiter refer to it as "slow" before. I stopped reading after that sentence, since it completely negated whatever credibility he might otherwise have had.
Apparently no one at Grand Central Terminal knows who Brian Williams is, either. At least when Tim Cook got to the Apple Store, everybody there knew who he was.
I see no advantage to separating the iTunes Store from iTunes. It makes sense on a handheld device with limited screen real estate to favor single-purpose apps, but on a desktop computer, having two programs is a waste when a single button-press essentially transforms the iTunes player app into the iTunes Store app.…

The very fact that all of these pictures were taken with the iPhone lying on a rough stone surface tells me everything I need to know about what the author defines as "normal use."
For the iPhone, my favorites are SoundHound (for figuring out what song is playing on the radio), and Guitar Toolkit (guitar tuner, metronome, and chord charts). For both the iPhone and iPad, Apple's Remote app (for controlling iTunes and Apple TV) and AmpliTube (effects processor and digital recorder). For just the…
