Weak sauce, Tony. Again, you spit the same insult twice. Here, try this one on for size — it's a quotation from The Tempest [spoken by Antonio in Act 1, Scene 1] that expresses the same sentiment, but with so much more verve: "Hang cur, hang, you whoreson, insolent noisemaker." Better, no?

I thought I wasn't worth your time:

Flagged as hate speech. It comes as no surprise, though, that someone who thinks that beauty should only exist in a museum is so filled with rage.

Cute metaphor, but your opinion on the matter doesn't carry much weight, since you've stated that you don't care about aesthetics. Choice of material is just one (perhaps small) element of good design: there are well-designed plastic cases and poorly-designed metal cases (and vice versa), but without an appreciation

If I want something inspired, I'll go to an art museum.

But the silence is the best part…

Beethoven's Fifth Symphony doesn't start with a triplet, it starts with four sixteenth notes, the first of which is a rest. The downbeat of the symphony is actually silent [cue "The More You Know" graphic].

Also the car will mysteriously be incompatible with most parking spaces.

The way that Apple is implementing diverse emoji is that everything would appear as it does now, but tap-and-holding on a face emoji would activate a pop-up menu where a version with a preferred hue could be selected.

Call me a culinary Luddite, but every one of these dishes sounds like something straight out of a Monty Python skit. No doubt for dessert they'll be serving a delightful confection like ram's bladder cup, made with the choicest juicy chunks of fresh Cornish ram's bladder, emptied, steamed, flavored with sesame seeds,

Even Apple fans know that the features introduced with the iPhone 6 were available 2 years ago on Android.

Sony's a7 series cameras (a7, a7R, and a7S) have a tilt-screen. The a7R is 36 megapixels, too, and the a7S can shoot 4K video, albeit to an external drive.

I have no artistic skill, and I envy those who do, so to assuage the pain of being talentless, I will smugly dissect this story's headline and point out that the subject of the painting isn't really a dragon by common Western standards and that the artist used more than one stroke to create beauty that I can't

NO. Why? Because this is the same Empire that had Darth Vader (their top banana) wear the same helmet and cape for twenty years (ending of Ep III and all through the original trilogy), without changes.

Three decades is not a lot of time when we are talking about billions going to war.

After the rebels killed the Emperor and Darth Vader, would a decomposing imperial bureaucracy say "let's talk with Jon Ive and ask him to design new helmets for our troops"?

Bleegh. I very nearly bought a SmartThings system this week... glad I held off. The last thing that SmartThings needs is Samsung's TouchWiz and golden Band-Aids aesthetic to uglify its elegant product line.
