I agree, and the next albums were more complex rhythmically although Moving in Stereo and All Mixed Up were a welcome diversion in the middle of the album.

I saw them in 78, and they were letter perfect, but that remastered 84 live in Houston footage on YouTube sounds pretty great. I have never heard a better version of Cruiser, Ben just crushes it.

As good as the songs were in front of these two, that is where the album really took hold of me, but I always liked their moodier songs, like Heartbeat City.

I actually liked Candy O as much as the first album. I have been listening to Panorama a lot lately as well.

Like all truly great bands, their music sounds as good or even better with the passage of time. I got to see them during the tour for Candy O, and it was one of the best concerts I have attended. It seems absurd that they had to wait until this year to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

So you are saying there was no possible factor of unreliability that could have changed the outcome of this race? Exactly how long have you been watching Le Mans, or any other race for that matter?

If you would have read more carefully, I never said the miracle was that they won the race, but rather that they are racing at all. Porsche could have continued to field a car in this class but didn’t. Don’t make this Toyota’s fault because others would not compete.

It’s about more than marketing, otherwise Porsche, Honda, Mercedes, Toyota and others should have fielded a car as well. Your comment regarding the Supra and the 86 being only half Toyota makes no difference to anyone that actually cares that sports cars continue to exist. I don’t see you trashing Mazda for allowing

In this case, the hype was deserved. Congrats Toyota!

Awesome Porsche, now put some cars back in the GMP class so you can justify your overpriced production cars.

Whatever, that Toyota GMP car is beautiful.

Wish I could have been there. Perhaps next year.

Good grief, I don’t understand why supposed enthusiasts on this site don’t understand that the mere fact that Toyota keeps racing at this level is a miracle, and a testimonial to their commitment to auto racing. And they continue to manufacture enthusiast cars for public consumption. This needs to be rewarded, not

Of course, check out FT86 Speed Factory.

The Cosworth kit is a nice kit, and reliable as well. But it is one of the more expensive kits out there, and the horsepower gain over that achieved with a header and tune is pretty difficult to justify. At least that’s where my mind is right now. To be honest, for everyday driving the torque dip isn’t really a factor

It happened in my home state, and she is from the same town I lived in. People seemed a lot smarter when I lived there though.

That’s not the original either:

So you will decide what opinions are awful? That is why they are called opinions, not facts. You may not agree with her, others will. You can have your own opinions but that doesn’t make you the singular judge and jury of everyone else’s.

He lost the spot because of the long stop, and couldn’t break through past the Red Bull cars in front, although he did regain a spot and challenge Ricciardo. The race was long over at that point.

Hamilton stated that the engine was down on power and overheating. They made some adjustments to the cooling ducts during the pit stop.
